Our Mission focus is the learner and as a provider of
education, our aim is to maintain and improve the standards
set over the past 22 years. Preparing learners for the world of
work and acceptance at tertiary institutions is vital, but we do

PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION
Potential candidates: The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a learner to operate as an Early Childhood Development Practitioner.
An Early Childhood Development Practitioner plans and prepares early childhood activities, facilitates and mediates learning, observes and assesses the progress of children, and reflects on learning in an inclusive, play-based environment to support holistic development of children (from conception - school going) in different centre-based or non-centre based settings.

PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION
The purpose of the qualification is to: 1. Provide access to a recognised educator qualification at Level 6 for ECD educators who have a Level 4 or Level 5 certificate in ECD, providing a bridge between non-formal and formal learning programmes.

PURPOSE AND RATIONALE OF THE QUALIFICATION

Purpose:
The purpose of this Qualification is to ensure that practitioners are able to screen and identify for potential barriers and strengths, facilitate and support learning activities, differentiate curriculum including assessment tools, adapt learning and teaching support materials including assistive devices and e-learning, and assist with making the environment conducive to learning.
